After a hike from Winsen, along the Kalker ponds, to Hornbostel and the Wildland. Enjoyed the world's best cheesecake and delicious tea and then back to Winsen along the Aller and Huthweiden.

Had a mega delicious 5-course menu, various excellent wines and an excellent espresso macchiato like in Italy (is very important to me at the end of a good meal) Then a very attentive and friendly, restrained service who was on the ball, I particularly like that 👍 5 full star rating 🌟 Also to be mentioned in particular is the wonderful ambience of the whole area of ​​the houses gorgeous 😍 Only one point of criticism: I found our room to be very, very small, although beautiful, but much too cramped for me and my personal taste and then also a tiny TV set that was really a shame and I would only like well-intentioned 3 Stars 🌟 awarded it was clean and everything was there and we only stayed one night in a comfortable bed so everything was good 👌

The restaurant is fantastic! Regional organic cuisine at its finest, friendly, attentive service, a place that is second to none! It was only quite cold in the dining room, just as a hint! Otherwise: keep it up, we'll be back!

Unfortunately, the price / performance ratio at the breakfast buffet is not at all. Hardly any selection (very clear) and not appealing. For the price really expected more. We will not come back.

Very nice staff (Mrs. Lea) went out of her way from the beginning, made a lot of effort with the hospitality, and answered all of our questions, even though she has only worked there for a few days. The selection of dishes is very balanced, adapted in times of the CORONA, the regional and seasonal offer is really good. One does not expect more choice on a menu in the rural region. On the terrace, into the evening, a very nice ambience, somehow reminds of a manor or part of an old castle complex. The interior is furnished in a very rustic style, but the seating, etc. is more intended for a youth hostel, not a location like this. A higher quality interior is expected here. A beautiful and quiet place. The ambience is just great here. You have to praise the excellent cuisine. Here we cook with passion. Everything is fresh and delicious and a lot of emphasis is placed on quality - and you can taste and appreciate it! If you can't find anything tasty here or don't get full, it's your own fault. The service staff is very friendly. This place is just wonderful to relax and feel good and is always worth recommending. Anyone who loves nature and good food - will definitely come back.

A quiet and rustic ambience. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the high-priced dishes. Everything was nicely arranged and of good quality, but you must not go into the restaurant hungry as it is only about mini portions :(

We were eating there and had reservations at 6:30 pm. However, the 5 courses were not over until around 10 p.m. If you look purely at the culinary side, there would have been more stars, but the extremely long waiting time spoiled the food. Right from the start, we had to wait almost 40 minutes for the first order to be accepted. That was a very dry wait. Which, unfortunately, could not be said about our service. In his facial expressions and gestures, he looked as if the “landlord was his best customer”. The first order was not noted and promptly the good man came back after 2 minutes and had to ask again. And the rest of the overall impression also led to the assumption that there is probably a problem here. Furthermore, the restaurant was well attended for a summer evening but not overcrowded. Nevertheless, the kitchen was not able to prepare the dishes in a comfortable time, as is usual for a 5-course menu. The bottom line is that the really long waiting time spoiled the food here. We can only advise against a visit at the moment, as the competition is clearly ahead in this price category.

Very good ecological hotel with a really good restaurant. The best in a wide radius. Excellent water, good wines. Restaurant: No frozen goods, only seasonal goods, no sauces from the bucket. Only fresh vegetables, nothing from a can.

Very nice place with several half-timbered houses. The rooms are a bit small. Walls partly with clay plaster. Very good quality restaurant. Everything organic.

A wonderful cozy ambience and lovingly restored building with very good natural climate. The service is very accommodating and friendly. The dishes are wonderful, I ALLED enjoyed, especially since all of organic quality. The home-baked bread and rolls were crispy and fresh.

The whole area is very quiet and is well maintained. Ideal for celebrating or relaxing. The food was great, only the service and one / two staff sometimes left much to be desired.
